The IU Campus Recreational Sports 2014 Faculty & Staff Golf Outing will be held Friday, May 16 at the IU Golf Course in Bloomington.

“It’s a great opportunity to meet faculty and staff from other departments, to test your golfing skills and win prizes and, most importantly, to have fun,” said Satoshi Kido, assistant director of Intramural Sports and the event's organizer. “Plus, how many other opportunities will you have to be rewarded for wearing ugly pants?”

The golf outing is scheduled for Friday, May 16 at the IU Golf Course with a check in time of 7:45 a.m. The $50 entry fee ($30 for IU Golf Course members) includes a continental breakfast, on-course snacks, green and cart fees, awards, a catered lunch, hole contests and prizes.

Players of all skill levels are welcome. Participants will be grouped into teams of four in men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions. Champions will be named in the men’s, women's and mixed divisions for low gross and low net.

According to event organizers, last year’s golf outing filled up quickly, so those interested are urged to sign up as soon as possible.
